Chicago Help Needed

I’m taking the chance that at least one of you has more Chicago experience than I do. I’ve only been twice, each time sans kiddos- once we just walked all over the city; the second time we went to hear U2.

I’m planning out our schedule for the week and am wondering about zoos: Lincoln Park or Brookfield? Anybody in the know on this one?

LP is right downtown by some other cool attractions. It is also free, I think. Brookfield is a very cool park, but it is farther out in the burbs and costs $$$. Hope that helps…. Love, Jess

If you’re going to be in the city anyway, definitely go to LP zoo. For one, it’s free. They also have new red fox pups and a new area for the lions that they just opened last week. I spent almost three hours there and didn’t see everything. I’m in Chicago if you have other questions, I’m happy to share my expertise!

Thanks, Ladies! I think I’ve emailed all of you about the trip now. Jennifer sent me this AMAZING email full of info and useful links which I will definitely be utilizing.
And the Fairy Castle is definitely on my list! (As is Navy Pier) We get in free with our St. Louis Science Center membership. Yipee!

LP, definitely. It’s free, and right in the middle of everything. Don’t miss the Chicago Children’s Museum, and the Field Museum of Natural History.
