Remembering Sakulu

Sakulu

Our “adopted” son/brother through Compassion, Sakulu, died last week and we just found out today. We are all very, very sad.

Sakulu, we know you had a hard life. We are sad you had to leave. We hope you are happy in Heaven. Though from our family, Craig was the only one to meet you in person, you were loved by all of us and we sincerely miss you.

Good-bye, little one.

How sad! once again it is a reminder of how blessed we are and how difficult it is for most mothers in the world who don’t assume that their children will live to grow up. m

I am sorry for your sad news- I am sorry for his short, hard life. I love that in heaven God Himself wipes away every tear and death shall be no more- no more mourning, crying, or pain- Amen.

I’m so sorry to hear that. I posted today about his death and about sponsoring through Compassion. It is such a blessing to be a part of the work there. One of our “sons” lost his father this year. It was heartbreaking… Partly because you really do get to know and love them through the letters and photos. Praying for his family today and yours. Love you, Jess
