On the way home from the farm this evening, I made a list. Craig got all excited because it meant I was planning ahead and he loves things to be planned ahead. Anyway, the list wasn’t exactly what he had in mind, but it will do. I had three questions for everyone in the car for what they wanted to do this week:
What book do you want to read/finish this week?
Craig: The Reason for God by Tim Keller, The God Delusion
by Richard Dawkins, and The Glass Castle: A Memoir
by Jeanette Walls
Megan: Breathing Lessons: A Novel by Anne Tyler
Maddie: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J. K. Rowling
Chloe: On the Banks of Plum Creek by Laura Ingalls Wilder
Katie: Anything with Amelia Bedelia
Millie: “I want to watch a movie.”
What do you want to do/accomplish this week?
Craig: Catch up on seminary assignments
Me: Complete my assignments for Music and Theology and finish my first writing assignment for God’s World News
Maddie: Research the history and evolution of Easter
Chloe: Play games
Katie: Cuddle with Daddy while he’s home from school!
Millie: “I want to watch a movie.”
Where would you like to go this week?
Craig: On a surprise date with you on Friday night.
Me: Really? A surprise date? That’s where I want to go too.
Maddie: The Science Center
Chloe: The Worldways Children’s Museum
Katie: The Magic House
Millie: “I want to watch a movie.”
What movie would E4 like to watch? 🙂

Too cute! The funny thing is that I started Spring Break this week too, and I’ve answered all these questions myself! 🙂 E4 really is a girl after my own heart: I’ve already watched more than a few. 🙂 Enjoy the break!

ohh, the Glass House is a GREAT book! Heart wrenching but good. You should add that to your list too.

you are just painfully creative in your mothering/parenting. Can i just morph into a little girl and come live with you for a week? ha, ha…. and i’m still suffering blog envy, mine are so, so, um, boring and yours are always (often) so fun!
