Doolally; adjective: irrational, deranged, or insane

As in, “This quilt has ceased to be called the crazy quilt and is now officially the doolally quilt.” In other words, it’s out of control. But I like it that way.

I haven’t worked on it too much since last winter. We had some of Craig’s students over last night for a Sabbath meal and one of them brought her crochet project. It had been a while since I sat in the living room without sewing buttons onto tea wallets, so I finally pulled out my basket and started working on this again. Quite therapeutic, that.
