Craig’s grandpa, Raymond Richardson, went home to be with the Lord this past Saturday. He was 96 and was a wonderful and godly man. He was ready, and we trust he’s happier now than he’s been in a long time. We’re celebrating his life at the visitation tonight and funeral tomorrow.
Instead of flowers, we sent a donation to Compassion; rather than purchase something that will not last, we hope the donation will provide life for children in poverty. As Raymond was a well-respected and long-time educator, it seemed fitting to provide for the further provision and education of two children who otherwise would not have that opportunity.
Great-grandpa Richie, you are and will be missed. Thanks for the example you set for us all. You were a classy man and a rare breed, and we will not forget you.
