Otherwise entitled: My mom went all the way to Minnesota over Valentine’s Day weekend and all I got was this plate of cookies.
Craig, Maddie, Chloe, Katie, and Millie, I love you and I miss you. I hope you have a fun day together today. I’ll see you tomorrow night.
M&M cookies — YUM. Happy Valentine’s Day, Dunham family. 🙂

My favorites to make and eat (besides your best sugar cookies ever). Were we separated at birth?
Hope you’re enjoying MN!

Can I have that recipe?

Hey Liz,
Basically it’s the recipe on the back of the Nestle Toll House chocolate chip bag with a minor modification. I use all butter (no shortening, no margarine), increase the flour by 1/4 cup, and only use half a bag of chocolate chips for one recipe. So when I double the recipe (which is almost always), I’m adding an extra 1/2 cup of flour and just using one bag of chips (any brand semi-sweet chips). If making M&M cookies, just press the candy pieces on top of the mound of cookie dough before putting them in the oven.
That help?
