I’m SO sorry about your camping trip being rained out!! And I don’t mean to be competitive in the bad weather department or anything …
But our poor tulips and daffodils are bracing for SNOW this weekend. (Four FEET of snow in NW Montana this week. EEK EEK EEK! It’s April!)
Just so you know that one day, you may look back on Midwestern spring rains as “the good ol’ days.”

I just found your blog. I hope that you can still enjoy your camping trip this weekend?! Quick question…. we are a CC family also, we just completed our first full year and now I’ve NO IDEA what to do until we begin again in August. I think my neighbors must think I’m done schooling for the rest of the spring/summer. We’ve been outside so much lately and went to the beach on Tuesday. BTW, I live in Sunny Fl. Sooo… just curious to know what you do with your kiddos while there is no longer a CC day?

Even if it’s not raining Sat the ground is going to be so soggy! Sigh. Any chance of camping in the basement? Or… in the church basement? Or… in Grandma’s basement? I’m running out of options. Wouldn’t want to be out in the mud tho. Hope you figure something out and have fun. Who knows – maybe the girls will always remember that weekend they went camping in the mud and how much fun they had!
