Every year I think that planning a Christmas party for 55 kids and their sidekick parents falls under the category of “No Big Deal.” Every year I end up spending a couple of hours at the church the day before setting up and more time than that the night before getting the whole thing organized within an inch of its life.

No regrets, though. I’ve been to parties for many kids in which mass chaos has ensued because where no planning is the people perish (my own loose translation of the Bible).

Tomorrow will offically mark the end of the CC semester for me. I’m ready. Bring it.
