I will admit, I rather enjoy getting a quick glimpse into someone else’s home when it’s dark at night and they have lights on inside and you can see just enough to paint a picture in your mind of what you think their life is like and what they might be doing inside at that precise moment.
But the thought of others doing that to us? Okay, maybe a little creepy. This room above is the add-on that someone put on at some point in the past. It’s an awesome room, but it’s usually just short of trashed most of the time. There are no window treatments of any kind on it which means if anyone is in there doing anything after dark, anyone can imagine stuff about us as well.
Go ahead and imagine. It’s probably better than what’s really going on.
And also, note to self: maybe some curtains over Christmas break? Maybe?

There is a house way behind ours, too far to be called a neighbor really, across a busy intersection and far up a hill. When I let the dog out at night I can see into their kitchen. Sometimes someone will come in and open the fridge. I wonder about their lives. Strange, isn’t it?
